Is Albert a real person?

No. Albert is an artificial intelligence (AI) with a warm, natural voice. Albert will always tell you so if you ask. Behind Albert is a small team at REL8 in Zürich that you can reach anytime.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Albert is free for everyone who joins now, while we keep improving it. There is no contract, and you can stop at any time.

What do I need?

Only a telephone with a number in the USA, Canada, Germany, Austria or Switzerland. A landline is fine. You don't need a smartphone, an app or the internet.

Can I sign up for my mother or father?

Yes. Please enter their name and number, and tell us in the message that you are signing up for them. We will only set up Albert once they have agreed.

What happens to what I tell Albert?

Your conversations are used only so Albert can remember you and talk with you. We never sell your data. You can ask us at any time to delete everything.
